Lisa painted Alex's room with a jungle theme and put up a jungle border.

When we arrived back from Canada, on the 1st of June (!!) my roses were all in full bloom.  This is very early for this in Colorado!

In May, 2000 we travelled to the Canadian Rocky Mountains with a tour company. We flew in and out of Calgary, and toured Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper, and then took 2 days of scenic train rides. It was a blast!

Alex with our Rocky Mountaineer Railtours "Motorcoach".  It was a great way to see everything - we didn't have to pay attention to where we were going, and they stopped at lots of neat stops just long enough to get pictures, and others with time to explore. The bus worked really well for Alex.  He could sleep across two seats (he had his own seat and there were always extras), and for most stops we didn't have to wake him up.  He really enjoyed the freedom of being able to move around the bus some when needed.

We stayed a few days at Chateau Lake Louise.  Unfortunately the lake was still frozen most of the way, but it was still very beautiful.
